Data Exchange with MixW2 and DigiPan

CQLog has possibility of data exchange with MixW2 (http://www.mixw.net/) by UT2UZ & UU9JDR and DigiPan (http://www.digipan.net/) by KH6TY, UT2UZ & UU9JDR.

Data Export from CQLog

CQLog exports data export into cqlogexp.ini file, which is in Windows root directory. These parameters can be used in macros of MixW2, and DigiPan programs. The data export will occurs in the following cases:

·At callsign input in the Callsign interactive field and found repeated QSO.
·At callsign input in the Callsign interactive field and successful search its in callbooks.
·After QSO data filling and their saving.

Using the QSO Data Entry window there is an export of QSO master data (callsign, name, QTH, received and transferred signal reports etc). Using the Operating a Contest window besides of QSO master data received and transferred check numbers and also next check number will be exported.

Examples of macros usage in MixW2

1.If at callsign input, in the Callsign interactive field, the information on it was found in callbook and it is the first QSO with this contacted station. In this case at once it is possible to greet the contacted station by name having applied the macro:

Dear <INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,CALLBK,NAME>!

The MixW2 program certainly itself has possibility of operation with callbooks databases and itself may insert a name of the contacted station into a greeting. This example is given faster in the fact-finding purposes that the principle of the data usage from the cqlogexp.ini file was understood.

2.If at callsign input, in the Callsign interactive field was found repeated QSO it was possible to apply the macro:

Dear, <INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,QSO,NAME>!
Nice to meet you! We worked on <INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,QSO,BAND> - <INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,QSO,MODE>.

3.Example of the macro by operating a contests:

<INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,QSO,RST_Rcvd> - <INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,QSO,Number1Rcvd> - QSL
To you: <INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,QSO,RST_Sent> - <INIFILE:C:\Win95\cqlogexp.ini,QSO,NextNr1>

See documentation of MixW2, and DigiPan programs for more information for macros format .

Data Import into CQLog

CQLog automatically allows filling the received data into fields by operation with MixW2, and DigiPan programs. Actually, depending on value of the Auto Save QSO check box in the Log Setup dialog box, CQLog may the data received in completely automatic mode from MixW2, or DigiPan programs. For this purpose it is necessary to do the following:

·Open both programs (MixW2, or DigiPan and CQLog) thus they will be displayed on the screen monitor.
·Click the data exchange with programs ... button in CQLog.
·Pass in the MixW2, or DigiPan program and to work only it not coming more in CQLog.
·For example, having received a callsign in the MixW2 program and by filling it into the Call field in New string (line), callsign simultaneously will be reflected in the Callsign interactive field in CQLog.
·CQLog will check up this callsign on repetition (result it will be visible as CQLog too before eyes on the screen monitor) and will make search callsign in callbooks.
·If you needs it QSO, then make it, simultaneously filling the received information into fields of MixW2 (the data will not be visible in CQLog).
·After data filling in MixW2, click the button (of course in MixW2 program) and QSO it will be saved into MixW2 log and CQLog simultaneously. Also it is possible for QSO saving use the following macros in MxW2 program:

Good luck <NAME>, 73! <CALL> DE <MYCALL> SK <SAVEQSO>
